Unit is attractive and the small size, including speakers, makes it easy to place in the room. Sound quality is acceptable. Nice to be able to play family's 78 records and our 33s. Only problem was that the hinges for the lid were not affixed properly, so that when the lid was attached, one of the plastic (metal would be much better)hinges broke. Not worth returning the unit.
